SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program description

The Access Controls, Ltd. (dba Access Controls Hawaii) SMS program ("Program") sends operational text messages to customers and prospective customers who have expressly opted in. Messages are sent only to the mobile phone number you provide and only for the purposes you authorized when you opted in.

2. What we send

SMS messages we send may include:

Quote / estimate follow-up — confirming receipt of your request, scheduling site visits, sharing your written quote, answering questions about your project.
Appointment scheduling and reminders — confirming dates and times, sending reminders before scheduled visits, rescheduling when needed.
Service-call status updates — for example, "Tech is on the way," "Job complete," "Parts ordered, ETA Tuesday."

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages without separate, express opt-in for marketing.

3. How to opt in

You can opt in to the Program by checking the SMS opt-in checkbox on our contact form at accesscontrolshawaii.com/contact. The checkbox is optional and is not pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Access Controls, Ltd.

4. How to opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS from the Program. You can also email accesscontrolshawaii (at) gmail.com or call us at (808) 333-1622 to be removed.

6. Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on the status of your project — typically a few messages per active project, infrequent thereafter. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Check with your wireless carrier for details on your messaging plan.

7. Supported carriers

The Program is supported on all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Information collected through the Program — including your mobile phone number and any details you share by SMS — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with sub-processors strictly necessary to deliver messages (for example, our SMS provider).

9. Changes

We may modify these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by SMS notice to active subscribers.
